anyway, here's another story:
praying for rain.
a small village was plagued by drought n this had adversely affected their crop production. hence, a priest gathered all the farmers to hold a mass praying session in the church. along went a little girl. petite as she was, barely anyone noticed her. the priest went on stage n pointed to the girl, saying: "that young girl has made me very touched." he continued: "we have all come here to pray for rain, but only one amongst all of us has brought an umbrella." upon closer scrutiny by the crowd, there was a red umbrella next to the girl's seat. everyone went quiet. suddenly, the church was a beautiful scene of resounding applause and tears.
tt is a simple story n at 1st i didn understand the significance of it. after a while, i realised tt it could b linked to our faith. did the ppl in the story really believed tt god would give em rain? there are times tt we want something n work hard for. things tt we believe in. but do we really believe in it? would we b like most ppl, praying for rain but nv even think to get an umbrella? tada~ i shall end this post w/ a quote.
